Since I was young, my surroundings consisted of creative outlets ranging from fine art, ceramics, wood carving, and music. Naturally, I turned to art as my haven and a space to express even my most vulnerable moments. When I heard of the overturning of Roe V Wade, that is how I felt; vulnerable. The feeling of being completely exposed and having no control over how the law viewed the bodies of those with a uterus. With hands like daggers, they carve into our bodies, choices, and futures, yet with our passion, voice, and defiance, we persist against the odds.
